Review of The Jungle Book (2016) by Nutankopuri — 05 Jun 2016

I am sure you guys all know the story of The Jungle Book so I'm gonna cut the crap and get straight to the point. We have all read the extraordinary tale of The Jungle Book as a kid and would keep reading it over and over again to see the fat bear. Director Jon Favreau took an interesting yet simple take on this movie by mixing action with comical aspects. There is technically only on artist in this movie and that is Neel Sethi. Neel Sethi excelled in his role as Mowgli and acted perfectly even though he was actually acting amongst props and magnificent CGI. The scenery in this movie was absolutely amazing and every shot was equally beautiful reminding us about how beautiful nature could really be. This movie emphasizes on values and morals and after all it is a disney movie so it has to teach the kids something. At the end of the movie it turns out to be a disney movie with a stellar character, evil villain, and a bunch of supporting characters that don't get enough time except for Baloo.

Pros:Amazing CGI, Beautiful Scenes, Some action and funny moments here or there Reminds you of The Lion King.

Cons: Generic, Quite boring in some scenes.

Verdict: 8/10 Would watch it again.
