The best pictuere of 1993. Chinese women and their offspring relate in this charming story based on the Amy Tan book. An excently adaptation with great story and direction, thanks also to a cast including actual Asians in it, instead of Hollywood people pretending to be.
Wayne Wang is a competent director also.
