Review of The Joy Luck Club (1993) by Dominic K — 14 Feb 2009

I watch this movie right before Wayne wang's new film "Thousand years of good prayers" is show in HK. I find Joy luck club is quite close to the main theme of other wayne's moive - Chinese American in the united states.

This one focus on mother to daughter relationship. The story of the 4 old mothers reflect part of their daughter's situation in the states. But I hope Wayne Wang can take some other topic movie, rather than Chinese-American stories.
