Review of The Joneses (2010) by Purcival F — 28 May 2011
What begins as a hip, cool-concept film cools into a paint-by-number tale of morality with Davey D.'s character bearing a striking resemblance to his role on Showtime's "Californication", a well-meaning antihero caught in the middle of a familial disaster that he has no idea how he got in the middle of.
But do not despair! Disney swoops in to ensure an ending that betrays any sense of moral conflict.
