A unique idea, great cinematography and a good cast makes The Joneses worth watching. It's directed and co-written by Derrick Borte, and this is the only movie he's done. He's normally a producer. A good cast helped make The Joneses a success.
David Duchovny is a good actor. I don't watch the X-Files shows, but the other ones, Kalifornia, Connie and Carla, and even his short roles in Zoolander were real entertaining. Demi Moore and Duchovny have no chemistry when they need it, but they pare up pretty well otherwise. The more seasoned actors, Lauren Hutton, Gary Cole, Glenne Headly, are all fantastic, and the younger cast, Christine Evangelista, Amber Heard and Ben Hollingsworth carry their weight. We already know how Amber Heard is moving up in films.
It gets a little long occasionally, but picks itself right back up to an expected, yet fitting ending. I watched it on a movie channel, but would say it's worth renting. And it has Demi Moore.
