Review of The Jewish Cardinal (2013) by Larry C — 26 Jun 2014
Aside from the power of the story itself, this is a beautifully written and acted film that presents the courage of a man who lived in two worlds, that of the Old and of the New Testament. Also an unflinching view of Pope John Paul II and his personal vendetta against communism overall all other modern issues.
The supporting actors deserve as much credit as the film's leading actors. It's a shame this film -- and the story of Jean-Marie Aaron Lustiger -- isn't better known.
