Review of The Jewel of the Nile (1985) by Ellie B — 21 Dec 2008
Nowhere near as good as Romancing the Stone. Cheesy lines and action (the jet in the city?!?!) really bring the 2 film series down to Earth. Plus it had a villain whose plight was laughable. Not the best effort on the part of Douglas (who also produced) but Turner plays the proverbial damsel in distress well.
