Review of The Jazz Singer (1927) by Ludvig A — 09 Jul 2008
I didn't see the whole movie, and some of you may think how I can rate a movie without having seen all of it, but I can just give you one reason why I didn't see the whole movie: It was boring.
This was supposed to be the first speech-movie, but there were only a few lines that was spoken.
People in the 30s may have liked this movie when it had it's premiere, but today we don't like these types of movies anymore.
But anyway, it's amazing to see how the technique has changed in the past 80 years and it's going to be interesting to see what the future will bring.
