Review of The Jazz Singer (1927) by Miguel S — 10 Feb 2009
As classical jazz fan I liked this film but due to it's age the flaws are obvious.
Good performance from the main actor with some epic dance moves and comical touches.
This movie is cute and in my point of view it's historical (in cinema history).
It's also interesting to see the power of music in the transition scenes.
This movie is also great in the sense of empowerment of any singer.
All in all a good movie to see if you like jazz of the 20s.
