It's true. you don't have to know the books to appreciate this movie. I might know a thing or two about Austen, but I absolutely don't know much about the inner workings of her characters to have an opinion.
But the movie actually made me want to read more of Jane Austen (if only I had the time! I will find time. I will make time!).
Major chick flick. being a chick, I loved it! and Hugh Dancy may not be a dreamboat, but damn it, I love him too!
