Formulaic and not too well-written, but I liked the concept and the characters. You don't get too many movies about people in book clubs. It's almost a little nerdy. I try to identify with people in books like these characters do, but it did seem a little like they were all written to be an exact modern-day equivalent of a Jane Austen character.
