Review of The Jane Austen Book Club (2007) by Candy R — 11 Jun 2009

Not a bad movie. A definite chick flick with it's "girl gets the guy" ending which is pretty tiring after you've seen the same thing in almost every single chick flick...I mean, come on, the characters could have had a little bit more of depth to them like the one's in Jane Austen's books but eh, it was very predictable and a bit boring at times.

The only characters who brought life into the film were Kathy Baker and...yeah that's pretty much it.
