Review of The Jacket (2005) by Brenton A — 22 Jul 2008
Strangely, the best parts were probably the quick war scenes at the beginning of the movie. It started off strong, in the mold of a solid psychological thriller with a bit of horror and sci-fi thrown in, but it completely lost me when the relationship between Brody's and Knightley's characters became the primary plot driver.
Their chemistry was simply not strong enough to keep me interested. And can someone please explain to me how Keira Knightley cannot decide on an accent in this movie?
