Drama, mystery, Sci-Fi - this bizarre film is a little bit of everything. The Jacket follows Adrien Brody's Jack Stark - a Gulf War Veteran who is wrongly sent to a mental institution for a crime he did not commit.
Confused, suffering from shock and in a strange place Stark struggles to adapt to his new home. He is selected to participate in some rather extreme and cruel mental experiments. He is put in a straight Jacket, pumped full of drugs and locked in a dark mortuary drawer.
Here Stark's life changes completely as he finds that during his time in the darkness he gets flashbacks and visions that are crutial to his survival. The story is so bizarre and very interesting.
It's a great Science Fiction, artistic, intiguing, complex and intelligent. Check this out.
