Review of The Jackal (1997) by Jonathan K — 03 Dec 2007
OK so it's not a patch on the 1973 original. Forget Gere's terrible Irish accent. This adaptation retains enough of the original to be interesting varying it slightly at times. It also adds enough that is new to be able to stand alone.
Willis is excellent as the assassin. Great entertainment.
