Review of The Jackal (1997) by Erik K — 13 May 2008
When I first watched this, I have to admit that I was quite impressed with the overall gist of the flick; the lighthearted pitch it emanated, the hearty humour, and of course the subliminal slickness of Bruce Willis as â??The Jackalâ??.
However, having watched â??Day of the Jackalâ?? one canâ??t help but elucidate this picture as a complete carbon copy plus a few tweaks and tune-ups to give it modern day commercial flair, totally bereft of its own identity and originality.
