Good movie, but far from great. The acting was good for the most part. Gere did pretty damn good for a change, though I would have preferred a real Irish man for this role (Liam Neeson). And as for suspense, it just wasn't there.
You knew most things would happen long before they did. You knew Gere would be the one to kill Bruce, and you knew once Gere didn't kill him, something was up, hence the cliche scene of Bruce rolling over to get a shot off.
