Review of The Italian Job (1969) by Simon P — 28 Mar 2013
A classic, another incredibly quotable film and the climactic heist sequence is both iconic and very well constructed. I did think the Mafia scenes were reminiscent of the spaghetti western genre, but Turin is a stylish city and it's a film that even manages to play to Bennie Hill's strengths.
Very good, very amusing. Altogether now - "You're only supposed...".
