The Italian Job is a classic beloved by many, but I have to admit that I wasn't overly enamored with it. Yes, it had its moments of enjoyability. Yes, Michael Caine makes a good leading man. Yes, the climactic chase scene is exciting.
Nevertheless, this movie hasn't aged that well, the plot drags and the ending is particularly frustrating. I hate to say this, but I may prefer the remake more.
