Review of The Island at the Top of the World (1974) by Matthew C — 07 Jun 2010
Fun action and adventure from Disney, this movie plays out like most 'lost world' films, but is still has plenty to like. David Hartman, of all people, headlines as an archeologist who leads a team into the arctic circle in the late 1800s.
Some cool, if stock twists and some pretty good imagery, if not the greatest special effects help. Solid family entertainment, and not too long for its own good.
