Review of The Iron Lady (2011) by Timothy K — 23 May 2012
Loved it! It was disturbing (yes, the real images of the war showned were), I laughed a bit with the family relationship. And since it's a short review, I must write here my opinion, very loyal one. I wanted to see this movie for two inspirations of mine: Harry Lloyd and Jim Broadbent. Why not Meryl? I'm not fan of hers, but I know something....SHE NAILED HER ROLE AT HER BEST! Should she be my 3rd inspiration now? Why not? Damn yes! Harry as Young Denis was absolutly adorable and amazing. Same Jim as the older Denis. Meryl defenetly deserved that Oscar. The rest of the cast, even extras, even the real people involved on this 1st prime female minister's life, were out of the league. Loved the way it was filmed, how it was edited and the camera angles/shots. The score was also bloody brilliant and incredible!
To end this short review, 4 stars of 5. Enjoy and AU REVOIR mis amigos/as britanicos-irlandeses-boricuas de corazon. No to war....YES TO PEACE & LOVE! And respect and loyalty also :).
