Review of The Iron Lady (2011) by Timothy S — 27 May 2012
A very by-the-numbers biopic which lays out the different points in Margaret Thatcher's life and depicts her as an intelligent, principled but stubborn and slightly naive woman. It tosses around some questions of balancing gender identity with her job and lingering thoughts over what her life accomplished, but focuses so exclusively on her that we never get a sense of how she impacted others.
