Review of The Iron Lady (2011) by James G — 29 Sep 2012
A touching and inspiring biopic of a truly remarkable woman. Although, as many reviews suggest, the emphasis is perhaps misplaced, focusing on the former PM's current mental decline as much as her glittering political career, this too is a story that deserves to be told, highlighting the fragility of the human condition.
This interesting slant and Meryl Streep's brilliant performance might soften the hearts of even the most staunch Thatcher hater.
