Granted, it's a first class performance from Meryl Streep (and several other cast members, to be fair - not least Olivia Coleman) but it otherwise a truly awful, pointless mess of a movie and a waste of 104 minutes of the viewing audience's time which I guarantee they'll all wish they could have back.
This just tells the tale of an ailing, demented old woman with recourse to some poorly reconstructed vignettes from her life. Very disappointing.
