I wasn't impressed with this at all. I think it shows us little of The Iron Lady's true self and the depiction of her time in power doesn't ring true either. Meryl Streep can't really be faulted as her 'impersonation' of Thatcher is spot on in both look and sound, but the material and the actors around her let her down here.
The script lacks depth and the whole thing feels like some sort of Yes Minister spoof rather than a realistic account of those times.
