Review of The Iron Lady (2011) by Timothy J — 30 Dec 2013
Meryl Streep is the only good thing in this movie. Clearly set not to present Thatcher in the best light. This film is more about her final years in senility, talking to her dead husband who only exists in her mind.
When she was her most vulnerable. The story relies on flashbacks with no clear timeline. It completely misses the feeling of that decade. A bit of a disappointment. Not what I expected at all.
