Superp film av Brad Bird. This is a poignant tale of a boy bonding with the alien Iron Giant reminiscent of ET. In the end, this gentle giant sacrificed himself by stopping the atomic bomb hurtling towards earth by flying towards it so as to save mankind, just like Jesus did.
Brought tears to my eyes. Fantastic stuff from Brad Bird along with his Ratatouie and The Incredibles and MI3 Ghost Protocol. Non of the silly cuteness and childish stuff so common with other animated films.
