Review of The Iron Giant (1999) by Nolan L — 22 Sep 2018
I went into watching The Iron Giant with low expectations because its animation was lackluster compared to Toy Story (which was made four years prior) and therefore assumed its story would follow suit.
Truth was, I was so blown away by its story and its amazing messages that any prejudice I had against this movie was wiped away within the first ten minutes of the film. In fact, this may have been the best kids movie that I have ever seen, no joke.
If you haven't seen The Iron Giant yet, I would absolutely recommend this instant classic.
