A wonderful, wonderful animated movie. I watched it for the first time many years ago, and watched it again recently with my 8 yr old nephew. Yes, it is a kid's movie but the deep story line is for all, kids and adults alike.
This is about friendship, sacrifice, finding a sense of belonging in a strange world. In a way, the kid and the giant are both alike, both trying to fit in, and in the process finding out something about themselves.
