Review of The Ipcress File (1965) by James C — 08 Nov 2007
A straight to the point espionage thriller, dated slightly but Caine, as you would expect, is on fine form as always. Harder to understand and follow than the Bond movies but nice to see that Harry Saltzmna was producer here, Ken Adam was production designer and the legendary Peter Hunt was editor.
Not forgettign John Barry's score, which this time, is a little lacklustre unfortunately. Generally though a good film.
