Review of The Invitation (2022) by Poisonedblade — 18 Jan 2023
A struggling artist, played by Nathalie Emmanuel, takes a DNA test that was stolen from a party by her racist black friend. To her surprise, she has rich relatives in England and flies out to meet them.
After 80 minutes of white people bashing and the main character accidentally breaking things, you find out it's a family of vampires, which is in the movie's trailer.
The last 4 minutes of this movie contains all of the action, where the main character tips over a candle and there's some shoving. It's like bad soap opera fighting.
I'm not sure who this movie is for, but it sucks more than blood.
