The Invitation is a below average movie with substantial pacing and tonal issues that drag down any chance the film has of being a decent horror movie. There is not much else to say besides that. Perhaps watch the film in the future if it becomes free on streaming or cable.
It is not the worst movie ever, but it is certainly not good.
