Review of The Invisible Man Returns (1940) by Ken S — 09 Nov 2014
This sequel to the original Invisible Man has Dr. Jack Griffin's brother also experimenting with invisibility, and he uses on a man wrongfully accused of murder. The Invisible Fugitive is played by Vincent Price, who is a great figure of the horror genre in his own right.
The effects remain quite timeless and seamless, and Price's voice lends itself well to the material (he really did have one of the all-time great voices). Nice follow-up to the original, though like most sequels it doesn't work quite as well as the original.
