Review of The Invention of Lying (2009) by Adam S — 02 Mar 2012
After hitting the movie scene hard with "Ghost Town", Ricky Gervais is back with an equally great comedy.
This movie starts off alright with the romantic comedy routine, but really hits it's strides when Gervais takes on the idea of religion.
Now, I understand that particular part of the movie got a few people a tad cross. Well, tough biscuits. Gervais makes no qualms about his views on religion, it doesn't take much searching of the man to find that out. If, for any bizarre reason, his failure to agree with your beliefs offends you, honestly, you shouldn't be watching his comedies.
Another brilliant movie from the British master.
