Were there some funny parts? Kind of. But what I really remember is that I just didn't buy the world that this movie was trying to create. The dialogue seemed to written purely for the joke and that was grating.
I so badly want to find Gervais funny, but again and again I find myself feeling let down. I really love the idea of this story and I wish someone else had done it and done it well.
