Review of The Intruder (1962) by Ryan B — 26 Apr 2009
I always thought Roger Corman was a hack filmmaker and that William Shatner was a hack actor. This film is the exception that proves the rule. Filmed in a manner reminiscent of classic film noir, and dealing with integration in the deep south.
Shatner was actually quite terrific as a race-baiting flame throwing POS. Well worth seeing for its historical significance.
