Review of The Intouchables (2011) by Scott A — 03 May 2013
Pretty average movie of the old tale of a dodgy older guy learning how to live again through a more youthful man.
I will say it ended on a super awesome note, as I figured it would end with a death like these stories always do. But the journey there can be really drawn out at times and I found the middle section kind of boring.
Nothing too dramatic happens and that hurts the film. I liked these two leads guys, and I really loved all the scenes with Sy and the red head flirting and how that didn't end in cliches either.
But I think the movie needed to pull on the heart strings more. And having the daughter be nothing more than a slight side plot was a bad choice.
