I enjoyed this movie, though for me it just didnt quite hit 5 stars. I thought Kidman's 'Matoban accent' was well done, but I felt the Penn character was too stereotypically 'washed up cop doin it tough'.
I'm glad there was no pow-wow between the two leads as that would certainly have cost it a star or two in the context of this movie.
