Review of The Interpreter (2005) by Afoue E — 04 Jun 2008
I'm probably biased to evaluate this movie, as it's all about themes that are very dear to me: communication, translation, African politics, the UN... I loved the way Pollack addressed all the different meanings words can have depending on their interpretation, and how this can affect all kinds of human relations.
But even if you're not into that, it's still a great thriller, with lots of plot twists and a very surprising ending. Go watch it!
