Review of The Interpreter (2005) by Mitchel S — 26 Jul 2010
Ehhh?I guess this was supposed to be a thriller, but I found nothing too exciting about it. I actually thought dissecting the Sean Penn character would have been better, but we follow the enigma of the Nicole Kidman character.
Her character is supposed to be the dramatic crutch, but I found her annoying. The set-up is nice, and there should be something said for taking a subject that was unique and drawing it out, but bombings and other hoopla seems like it would have much greater impact.
But really gave nothing. Chase scenes, nothing. Confrontational conversations, nothing. Nice try, but pass on this one.
