Review of The Interpreter (2005) by Jenna G — 19 Mar 2010
Anytime a thriller is advertised as an "intellectual thriller" that usually means it's boring as hell and this one delivers in that light if Jason Bourne style action is what you crave. If you understand that the dialog is key then you'll at least be entertained.
Sean Penn is great as always and so is Nicole Kidman who can't seem to catch a break opening a movie these days. There are much worse things to watch. If you are paying close enough attention, you'll probably figure out the ending midways through.
Still okay though.
