Review of The International (2009) by Antariksh K — 01 Feb 2010
The International is a somewhat bloated conspiracy thriller, that of course stars the big bad corporation that controls everything. My biggest issue with the plot would be the lack of character development.
Even the main character gets only a cursory backstory. The cinematography is great, and it is refreshing to see a thriller without a ton of pointless action sequences, but the shootout at the Guggenheim was pretty cool.
Overall, a decent movie, but one that will most likely put you to sleep than shake you awake.
