This movie could have done something completely different with the premise, and while that may have had more potential for comedy, I don't think that movie would have been as good. It's funny when it needs to be, and serious when the story requires as well, and it does both quite well, with good balance, and great acting from pretty much everyone involved. In the end it was more serious than the trailers let on, but I think that made for a better movie, and one that feels a bit unique as well.
