Review of The Insider (1999) by Chase R — 29 Apr 2010
Insightful and honest look on the modern society's corporational hypocrisy where the thin line between objective journalism and ambitious business-making is the primary fight that is ensued. A marvellous approach by a renowned director that is exploring new areas of plot development, no action or gunshots involved, but just merely accurate character portrayals of middle class members stuck inside a conservative and selfish social structure. Climatic decisions and psychological frustrations at stake. "The truer the version gets, the worse the situation gets." That's right; unfortunately, we've been there. We see it in everyday's life; we see it around the corner. For the love of Christ, we even see it in cinema. Will justice be done? If so, what is the next step?
85/100.
