Review of The Insider (1999) by Steven C — 01 Jun 2011
Best journalism movie I've seen, beating out even "All The President's Men," mostly due to Michael Mann's ability to tell and communicate the most important part of the story -- the human elements, the personal implications that create abundant sympathy for two great characters played by two fantastic actors in Pacino and Crowe.
This is a film about what it really means to risk everything for the truth and what's right. A bit long, but worth every minute.
