Review of The Insider (1999) by Leon C — 10 Aug 2008
A riveting legal/political thriller with excellent perfs throughout. I was a bit uneasy about Russell Crowe's character and at times, the film feels a bit obvious and manipulative. At times, the film tries to hard and Mann's directorial hand is excessive.
This is a positive review, entertaining nonetheless.
