A masterpiece in every regard. The best political/journalist thriller I have ever seen. With "The Insider" I have finally seen all of Michael Mann's films, and I can safely say this is his best picture.
The Wigand deposition is one of the most compelling moments I have seen on film. Everything feels intense and the sense of ethical responsibility has never stirred greater in me than after seeing this film.
Truly powerful. Truly brilliant.
