Review of The Insider (1999) by Nicky M — 13 Apr 2013

But when CBS threatens to buckle under corporate matters, the two men must face the corporations alone. Mann's thriller drama is about two men trying to do the right thing but being crushed down by an evil society in disguise; in doing so he returns to the formula of his excellent previous work Heat.
Crowe and Pacino are brilliant in the lead roles, and the stunning cinematography adds to the intensity and suspense.
