Review of The Innocent (1976) by Eleonora E — 27 Sep 2008
SHows meaningful similarities with Scorsese's The age of innocence, not only in title. You know from the start that the main character will fall down in grande style and Visconti knows superbly how to do this.
Not much worse than Il gattopardo I would say.
