Review of The Innkeepers (2011) by Stevenalan — 19 Jun 2014
It Sucks! Slower than frozen molasses flowing uphill. Very predictable; no real surprises. Doesn't qualify as a "B" movie, barely a D. Maybe 50 years of watching and reading horror makes me a tougher audience, but I feel it was a huge waste of my time and celluloid.
After 90 minutes there were 2 scenes that were "eery" but it was all never scary. Mostly I had to stay awake through the bad writing and uninspired acting. After 60 minutes of torture I allowed myself to fast forward a few times.
There is NO Reason to watch this film unless you want to die from boredom. I watched this film because it was rated 3 of 4 stars. I would now like to inflict bodily pain upon the person who gave that rating for putting me through the pain of experiencing this extremely dull snooze fest.
